How this calculator works
Detailed adds up the wattage, quantity and daily hours of your appliances, then sizes panels against your region's sunlight, an inverter against your peak simultaneous load, and a battery against the appliances you mark essential. From my bill takes your actual monthly usage or bill amount — the most accurate input for panel sizing, since it reflects what you really consume. Quick uses a national average for your country and home size. Cost and payback are estimated from typical installed prices and average electricity rates in your country; your own quotes and tariff will differ.
